Zombie Ideas Brainstorming
Overview: The various kinds of zombies and zombie apocalypses I come up with. I like the zombie genre.
Fungal Zombies: Zombie Pathogen is fungal based. The body is converted to mycelium, heavily infested with the pathogen. They probably aren't very agile, but they can become covered in fruiting bodies.
The Cure made it worse: A failed cure that spread. The cure attempted to defeat the zombies, but instead restored their mental faculties, making them suddenly smarter and potentially more physically able.
I've Been Bitten: Protagonist or Random Survivor has been bitten and there isn't a cure within range or possibility. Now, they seek to kill as many zombies as possible, possibly heroically sacrificing themselves to distract a horde of zombies so the uninfected can run away.
Electrical Franken-Zombies: Zombies motivated by electricity. They resemble Frankenstein's monster, with wires and electrical equipment powering them.
