Miscellaneous Ideas

We will forgive you if you help us catch others: Someone who was part of a group of dishonorable people is given a strange yet tempting offer; their individual dishonor would be forgiven, if they help catch others who were dishonorable. In all likelihood said people are lying and just going on false hopes then will kill the informant later.

Vine Brute: A man entangled in vines. He has been hypnotized, colonized by the plant, his eyes stare blankly. The vines are strongest around his torso, functioning as body armor. Likely has the ability to have thorns sprout suddenly to attack attackers. He wields a club and doesn't go down easily.

Base Builder game but the troops are also the defenses: The troops serve both as defense and offense. Tanks are a common troop, and show up emplaced as cannon defenses. Snipers could be long range, slow firing troops. Could have flamer units that explode upon defeat, similar to its defense.
Inspired by Boom Beach.

TF2 Idea

Slots: Primary, Secondary, Melee, Consumable (Lunchbox, Grenade, that sort of thing)

Spy Invisible to Robots: In a robot PVE Mode, Spy is always invisible to the robots.

His Sapper would confuse a robot and make it attack its allies, giving space and slowing down charges.

His backstab knife would affect multiple enemies at once when backstabbing robots.

When he disguises, it makes whoever it disguised as invisible and now the enemies focus on the spy instead.

Unsure what to do for his cloak. Maybe it makes the whole team invisible?

Inspired by Team Fortress 2.

Random Names

  • Pleasant Lake: Likely a retirement community of sorts.
  • Easy Dollar: A typical dollar store, nothing too special.

.

Dark Cloud Idea

Castle that as the player progresses further back in time, it becomes less run down, especially carpets and tapestries. Less plants overgrown

Also some enemies that survive the rigors of time becoming more polished as they go further back in time

perhaps even sections of the castle under different times

Rainworld Idea

Rainworld Overview: No scripted monster encounters. Feel like you are a part of a larger ecosystem, not the main character.

Tendril Spiders: These large spiders give away their presence by sticky strings. Being on any will alert the spider, sending it to come to the source of the disturbance, either to attack or to watch, but most of the time attack. The centers of their webs, their dens so to speak, are chock full of treasures and food, if you can defeat the spider.

Monster Dens: Dens for monsters, which can inhabit different ones and different monsters. What is important is occasionally finding loot and food here, at the high risk of interacting with the dweller.

Quill Beast: Covered in armor like spears, which it can explode outward or throw with one of its 3 tails. It has 4 talons for arms and legs, letting it partially stick to the ceilings and walls if needed. Its main weakness is its unarmored underbelly, which will likely fold to even one spear shot. Sufficient damage to its back spikes can reveal vulnerable underbelly of sorts, probably not as weak.

As it makes and throws natural spears, it can be valuable to trade food for a spear. Its territory is covered in its quills, and it feeds by draining its victims dry.

Lizards: Large creatures that serve as high up predators. They can be befriended by leaving food out, helping it deal with territorial disputes with other creatures, or even saving it from death.

Megastructure: The whole world is industrial, but nature has reclaimed massive parts of it.

Bioshock Infinite Idea

Infinite Portals Idea: Floating city in the clouds with some steampunk and magic.

Portal Suspended City: A city suspended in various small dimensions connected to each other, to explain partially how they have ground and aren't just utilitarian metal behemoths.

Blanked: A fate worse than death. The victim is exposed to all of their potential selves, often times reducing the afflicted to a blank, mindless state. However, a few withstand this, becoming greater than before.

Unsure what happens to those who survive Blanking, but probably superpowers.

Handyman Placeholder: Largely mechanical, except an enlarged head and internals. Their limbs are grossly enlarged, especially their hands. Their shoulders are massive with important mechanicals, and they have batteries on their back.

They may be the first who explored portals, keeping their faces and organs intact to explore.

In battle, they leap around and smash, throw bodies and other enemies, and especially disable the mobility lines by shocking the lines, though expose themselves. Their main weakness, their chest, is protected by a thick chestplate which must be shot off.

Alien Ecosystem

Inspiration: Half-life Alien Combine occupation and multiple random species.

Overtaken: These humans are overtaken by a huge parasite, mostly latching onto their backs and burrowing into them. Some of them are armored due to being infected with another alien fungus.

Armored Humans: Humans that have decided to collaborate with the occupiers, mostly for slightly better treatment and a sense of power. The rest of the humans are kept moving and confused to keep them from rebelling.

These armored humans have special bodysuits and sometimes even cybernetic enhancements.

Hanging Tentacles: These creatures glue themselves to surfaces and simply leave out a tongue. When prey touches this tongue they retract into their mouths to feed.

Vampire Castle

Inspiration: Castlevania Lament of Innocence

Perhaps part of the castle is a prison of sorts. One boss unlocked by breaking its shackles. maybe the protag is trying to break someone out.

Defeating the bosses of an area lets the other areas have tougher foes, often from said area

A crazy mode/New Game Plus where all the enemies are stronger, some have different attacks, especially bosses have different attacks and reduced recovery times

Doppleganger high up servants, serving the vampire

vampire is bored cause has a stone which does eternal night, captures people to attract hunters to try and free their loved ones

Dullahans and many other 'monsters' wandering around his grounds are conquered foes

Shivering One: A large creature defeated long ago and mutilated. Despite this, it still is strong enough to make its prison 'shiver' with its movements. Endless maggots have fed on what's left of it, turning into giant Shivering Maggots, which rarely grow into Shivering flies.

The key to its cell is not particularly hidden.

Breath of the Wild Idea

Secret EXP: Defeating enemies and completing objectives level up the player secretly. This increases the toughness of enemies, the sort of gear available, and other things.

Wandering Small Lings: Short, not goblin things that wander around. They are the bottom of enemy tiers, though they make up for this in numbers.

Bigger Big Lings: Bigger bastards that have tougher gear and often bully Small Lings for fun.

Servant of Evil Armor: The helmet alone confuses enemies, enough to make them not attack you on sight or even run away.

Centaurs: Big beefy centaurs. Tough beasts that occasionally carry a smaller beast on them to add support, often through arrows and other projectiles.

Dead by Daylight Idea

4 killers, one survivor

Killers: Attempt to collect survivor for themselves, specific abilities designed to disrupt both the survivor and the other killers.
Survivor: Attempt to escape, likely is faster and more agile than killers.

Dual Blade Killer: This killer wields two blades, probably each one has a significance. How it kills the survivor is by catching them between the 2 blades and simply cutting them in half or decapitating them. Uses the blades to fight off the other killers.

Mechanical Beartrap Killer: This Killer leaves mechanical beartraps around, waiting for the survivor to be either trapped for capture or being mangled.

Bell Ring Killer: This killer bangs his oversized bell, letting him transition into another world and move faster. Beware the rings of his belly.

Punch Out idea

Stamina: Stamina is the health bar. Successful super attacks will net stamina, along with successful moves. Can tire oneself out.

Second Fight/Title Defense: After fighting all the fighters once to become champion, all of them would challenge him again. They come back with less forgiving movesets and new moves and abilities.

Dope Man: Every time he loses all stamina, he attempts to drink from his bottle. If successful, he doesn't go down and stands back up with some stamina.

Pharaoh Phighter: A guy who speaks Egyptian and styles himself as a Pharaoh of sorts. When KO'd, he falls down and acts like a sarcophagi body. Second fight is him covered in bandages like a mummy. These bandages reduce damage and must be unwrapped to properly finish him off.

Mind and Body Twin Fighter: His body is separated into 2 parts, mostly by body colorings, mainly his head and torso. Each part has one arm. Mind is smarter, dodging more and such, while Body is tougher. A second fight would likely have the two working together moreso.

Dancing and Flexing: Fighters or one fighter who want to put on a show. All their moves are essentially attack dances.

Knight Boxer: This boxer styles himself after a Knight of Old, though is not a good fighter. He doesn't block any attacks and has poor stamina, yet has enough fighting spirit to stand up. His Boxing gloves are uniquely designed to resemble armored knight gauntlets.

In his second fight, potentially Title Defense, after losing so much he is given a foam boxing helmet, which he styles after a knight's helm. This helmet nullifies all blows to the head, but with super punches can be 'punched off' for a few moments, exposing his squishy head.

Alien Teleporter Magician: An alien who wears a hat with a jewel or other indicator. He has the ability to create functional holographic clones. His second fight he's improved his clones further, able to swap them in at will and potentially have an attack where it's near impossible to tell who is or isn't the clone.

this also could work as just a simple mag.

Frankenstein Electric Fighter: Electrified gloves which power up to hit hard. His health is a battery meter, if too much damage he has to cool off and wait for under 10 seconds lest it becomes a knockout. He can shock his legs so he doesn't fall over. A full KO  has him exploding into bits all across the ring.

Ideas without Specific Fighters

  • Hair fighter: This fighter has long hair that has been strengthened enough to be used as a weapon. It acts like a whip or flail, keeping the fighter out of danger while dealing damage. Possible Finishing move is illegally catching the hair and bringing down the fighter with it.
  • I don't go down that easy: This fighter has intense endurance, likely as a second fight. Requires super punches to be properly knocked down. Possibly first fighter who is weak physically but has the stamina and the drive to keep fighting despite their losing streak.
