These are mutants created by Pink Paste. Pink paste was a fungal-like substance designed for long lasting nutrition. Humans and animals who consumed the refined pink paste had less effects, but still slight mutations. Problem was the unrefined and more 'adapted' pink paste that would form via symbiosis with whoever consumed it.

Pinkies often are swollen humanoids, eating whatever they can find out of an ill-placed hunger. The largest ones can emit toxic Pink Mushroom fumes in a large radius. Some of them slim down, the fungus deciding to root the unfortunate being in place to grow itself larger and larger.

Rejected - Pink Paste Potential Ants: The Pink Paste could potentially also affect ants, creating giant monsters who seek flesh to feed to their pink paste farms.
