Sunrise Thunderbird Army

Brainstorming Thunderbird Army

Inspired the NCR Army, Thunderbirds is a placeholder name, it may stay though.   .

Characters

Units

Thunderbird Units: They're an army built up. Probably units named after birds.   Heavy Thunderbird Magpies: .         .

Armor

Thunderbird Armor: The standard uniform is long sleeve, with wrappings on the forearms and shins. Long and expansive collar as well.   The Chestplate and other armor is a balance of cost-effective material and protection, as full sets of combat armor are expensive. The Chestplate stands up to most pistol rounds and some rifle rounds.   .

Quests

Poor Meat never makes good soup: . Copypasted Poor Meat Never Makes Good Soup: Some big faction is overstocked with vegetables and cheap protein, likely pre-packaged beans of sort, and has a bad chef on top of that. The player can bring over various cuts of meat, cooked or not, to trade for faction good boy points and either raw currency or one of the overstocked veggies or beans.       .

Copypasted NCR Idea

[NCR] Army Faction: A faction able to run itself like a pre-conflict military. They have ranks, standardized gear, and military planning. They all have military dog tags which they use to keep track of the many soldiers they field.   Their mainstay weapon is called a Service Rifle. It's reliable and modular design allows for easy maintenance and upgrading. Most grunts use the basic model for high fire rate with decent recoil. Officers and designated marksmen have rifles with scopes and increased range, however comes at the cost of lower durability.   Their basic clothing is military fatigues, mass produced. However, when going into battle, they all try to have the main breastplate, secured with straps and designed to resist small arms and even some rifle rounds. While not as good as actual combat armor, its good for its mass production standpoint.   Possibly named the Thunderbirds.   Service Rifle: An assault rifle built for a military faction originally, however its rugged, durable, and modular design has seen it proliferate throughout the wasteland. In the military faction, there are two main versions fielded; One for general grunts, which is rugged and durable, and one for officers and designated marksmen, with range and damage increases at the cost of overall durability. The Wastelander version comes from the military rifle getting into civilian arms, often through trade but also some are taken from dead soldiers.   Call it the Thunder Rifle?   Patrol Rangers: Rangers and higher-up soldiers who don light, breathable combat armor for long patrols. They have wide-brim hats and plenty of water in water packs. .
