Zigzag Fish
A fairly common fish found in most lakes and rivers. It earns its name by the unique pattern on its body.
Basic Information
Anatomy
It has blue skin with lighter zigzag patterns on its entire body including its fins. They have a crescent shaped eye which gives them a friendly appearance and a forked tail fin which allows them to swim fast.
Genetics and Reproduction
The females go back to where they hatched in the summer to lay their eggs and the journey takes around 7-9 months. The journey is harsh and they can get eaten by predators along the way.
