Laplace

Creatures of pure shadow that are harbingers of danger. They serve to warn the people of the impending doom, but when one is spotted, it marks the beginning of the end times. When one appears, no mortal who looks upon the Laplace can remain sane, for their mere form causes immense mental suffering that can drive anyone insane in mere seconds. Once a Laplace appears, the end is nigh. Fog appears when the creature is close and can appear in dreams.
