Pledge and Goals

• Focused Creation - I tend to cast to wide a net when creating. So I plan to utilize my meta as much as possible to stay on task. Inner pantser be damned I need to plan.
• Discipline and Motivation - I know I can hit 10,000 words. I NaNoWriMo every year and know that I have the ability to write and achieve a word count goal. I am more worried about keeping up my motivation after November. As well as staying disciplined to remain on task and not flit around to different projects and hobbies. I want to keep focused as mentioned above.
• Content - I would love to have enough content by the end of WorldEmber to write a primer for Reovan. However, a more realistic goal would be the creation of my magic system and the City State of Karta.
• Accomplishment - I have never undergone a serious world building endeavor that lasted more then a few days or a few scrap pages in my various writing journals.
• 10,000 words - This word count goal is an easy to swallow goal that will also allow me to create visually appealing articles that make me happy.
• 20,000 words - A stretch goal for myself, but not something I want to push towards if it means sacrificing the ability to also design my articles as well as write them.

I, Miranda, do pledge that during WorldEmber I will write 10,000 words for Reovan. This will be my first WorldEmber event, right after a NaNoWriMo win. I pray to the gods of creation that I do not run out of creative energy or motivation. I also pray that my children please not drive me crazy.

Self Care and Mental Health

I don't really have a fan base, nor have I been all that social on WorldAnvil - but one thing to know about me is that I suffer from CPTSD, ADHD, General Anxiety Disorder, Major Depression, Chronic Pain and an Autoimmune disorder that likes to put me out of commission of days at a time with seemingly no warning. So no matter what my goals are to write, I must remember my self care. I must remember to treat myself with compassion and understanding and be proud of ever little success. I highly recommend that you do the same dear Traveler.
