The 10 Pillars Structure
The 10 Pillars structure is a structure in the far west of the Nasrawan desert and mountain range. It is the source of knowledge regarding The 10 Pillars gods.
Purpose / Function
The original function of this building is assumed to be some sort of temple with a worship space for all The 10 Pillars.
Alterations
Currently, the structure has a significant amount of additions intended to support and preserve what remains.
Architecture
What remains of the structure shows a thick stone circle, with 10 metal pillars surrounding its radius. Remains of other outer buildings and walls around the circle can be seen, again made of a thick, dark stone. Fragments of glass can also be seen here and there, though far too destroyed to tell where and what it was originally placed into.
Defenses
The structure itself has no defenses, but a small group of people, one from each 10 Pillars religion, plus a few of their company, remain living at the site to protect it and, potentially, connect with the gods through it. They refer to themselves as The Pillar Guards.
History
The structure was discovered by Disus Kape in 1184 PC.
Tourism
Some heavily religious people travel out to see the Pillars. However, as they are very far within the Nasrawan desert and mountains, it is extremely difficult to reach, therefore it must be a very well planned expedition. They are also typically advised not to touch the Pillars to prevent damaging it further. All visits to the Pillars are heavily supervised by The Pillar Guards.
