Aun'Teixi
Aun'Teixi are a variety of Teixi with long, thin ears that point upwards. They have no sclera. Their skin tones are usually on the warm colour spectrum. They are stereotypically considered to be intelligent and studious, and whilst this is generally just a stereotype, Aun’Teixi do tend to have a higher rate of mental recall than other races.
Age: Aun’Teixi can live around 350 years and mature at age 20, though are still considered young until they reach age 100.
Size: Aun’Teixi tend to be quite tall, and average between 5’10” and 6’7”. Your size is Medium.
Creature Type: You are a Humanoid.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision: You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Fey Ancestry: You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.
Trance: Aun’Teixi do not sleep. Instead they meditate deeply, remaining semi-conscious, for 4 hours a day. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit other species would from 8 hours of sleep.

Aun'Teixi Lineage: At level 1, you know the Prestidigitation cantrip. Whenever you finish a Long Rest, you can replace that cantrip with a different cantrip from the Wizard spell list. When you reach character levels 3 and 5, you gain the use of a levelled spell (though is not socially considered a 'magical ability' and is instead considered part of your innate biology, despite functionally being a spell). You always have that spell prepared. You can cast it once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in that way when you finish a Long Rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for the spells you cast with this trait (choose the ability when you select the race).
