Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

Duskmight does have some of the facial tattoos that originated with the Order of Sable. His are unique and familiar to anyone who spent time among Shadow Elves.

Apparel & Accessories

As a former knight, Sir Duskmight is always well armed and armored. His weapons and gear are all shades of grey and black. Most accent pieces are dark red, including rubies on his weapon hilts.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Sir Duskmight was one of the most brilliant and fearless knights of the Shadow Realm. When the elves were first hurled into the Shadow Realm during the Cataclysm he was one of the first to gather a group together into a fighting force.
During the early years of settlement, Duskmight was integral to building the Order of Sable Knights who were tasked with protecting the Sable Court and Rolen the Immortal. Some look at him as the founder of the order, but other say he was one of many. In any case, he was often called upon to defend the Sable Tower in the early times, and was awarded for his bravery and ability to shift tactics against the warped enemies they faced.
Because of his skill and honor, many were drawn to him to learn skills in combat and knighthood. He became a mentor of sorts, and was even considered to be the true ruler of the Sable Tower by many.

Failures & Embarrassments

Within the last few years Duskmight shifted his outlook on the Shadow Realm. He became more and more convinced that the Shadow Elves had changed for the better, and were becoming something greater and more powerful because of the association with Chaos. He began to sway more and more to this idea. This was an interesting, and not unpopular opinion.
It was only when he began to speak of the Chaos Elves in flattering and honorable terms that he began to run afoul with many of the leaders of the Sable Tower. It is said he confronted Rolen the Immortal himself with the idea. The outcome of that conversation is only known to the two, but ever since that day Sir Duskmight has been driven to prove his point. 
This lead to him being removed from the Order of Sable, and forced into exile with is followers. Unrepentant, Duskmight embraced his role as a renegade and was determined to found hidden and powerful magic rumored in exist in the most chaotic parts of the Shadow Realm. Some of his followers have returned to the Sable Tower with disturbing stories about Duskmight. While others have left the Shadow Elf settlments to join him in his mission.

A number of notable elves have joined Ilar's cause over the years. Belv the Iceblood is one of the most infamous and dangerous.

Religious Views

Like nearly all elves, Sir Duskmight worshiped Yeno. But he eventually shifted his allegiance to Rolen the Immortal. Since his confrontation with Rolen, he no longer speaks of any particular god. Some of his detractors declare he worships Chaos. But his followers are quick to deny that and declare that Duskmight sees Chaos as a means to an end.
