Crew Roles and Description - Galloping Domino

The following are roles of the crew aboard The Galloping Domino:

• Captain - Decides where to sail, what targets to attack, how and where to dispose of captured ships and cargo. Gives sailing directions and navigates.
• First Mate - Executes the captain's orders and gives sailing directions when the captain is below decks. Often navigates.
• Bosun - Chief petty officer in charge of the crew and special work details that take care of ship's boats, rigging, weapons etc.
• Quartermaster - Oversees the ship's supples and cargo. Also keeps on eye on other maintenance specialties.
• Surgeon/healer - Trained in medicine and herbal remedies. Knows a thing or two about sunburn, broken noses and a great hangover cure.
• Cook - Keeps track of provisions and prepares meals for the whole crew.
• Officer of the Watch - The top ranking officer in change when the Captain is not on deck (typically the First Mate or Bosun).
• Helmsman - Crew member who steers the ship and answers directly to the Officer of the Watch or Captain.
