Reeqith

The realm of Reeqith is an old land stepped in both history and legend, once a vibrant home of Dragons and their Gods the world was invaded by all manner of creatures from accross the starts. Led by their new gods the invaders threw out the old order and established themselves as the new masters of the realm.   After 2103 years of peace and prosperity the realm was returned to chaos with the fall of the God of Death Nither into the clutches of a madness unable to comprehended by mortals. Another bitter war raged for 305 years until at great sacrifice the reaming gods cast the mad god into the abyss and bared his entrance back to the realm.    After the war ended the realm returned to peace with what was left of the pantheon however peace was not to last long as the followers of Nither sort to release him and the servants of the dragon gods sort to return their own pantheon to supremacy. Within the space of 1000 years both Nither and the dragon god of death rose to seek supremacy over the realm, however with the heal of the primordial dragon Enoss, Nither was able to easily overcome the remainig dragon god and take dominion over the realm.    Now 788 years later the realm is ruled over by the god of death, death cults and knights occupy the cities conducting sacrifices to the lord of the pantheon and dragons and monstrosities roam the wilds killing all who take their fancy. It is a dark and forbidding time and travel between towns and cities is sparse for any who do not serve at Nither's whims.
