Mechanus , God of Technology and Machines

Mechanus is a deity of absolute order. With a mind made of spinning gears and cogs, they can see the exact rules of how the world should work and as such can predict the outcome of many events. The one thing that defies these rules and, therefore; angers Mechanus is mortals. These creatures make irrational decisions, but only just often enough that they cannot be reasonably accounted for. If they were to always make the irrational choice that would be fine with Mechanus as there would be a rule that could predict their behavior. But as far as Mechanus has been able to determine after watching a statistically significant number of individuals in a statistically significant number of situations and controlling for other variables; their actions seem to be entirely random. As such Mechanus has agreed to work with Vecna on his plan to snuff out all life and replace it with the undead because the undead adhere to rules that Mechanus can define, and at the end of the day all he wants is order in creation.

As one would expect the structure of the Church of Mechanus is very rigidly prescribed. A small town may have a Chapel of Mechanus overseen by a Rector who oversees exactly 2 Curates, while a large town is likely to have a Basilica of Mechanus staffed with a Bishop who oversees exactly 2 Rectors each with exactly 2 Curates. In the region capitals you can find Cathedrals staffed by Cardinals who oversee exactly 2 Bishops each with their staff of Rectors and Curates. And finally in the capital of the Kaelic Empire the Primarch of Mechanus resides at the Palace of Mechanus overseeing his staff (2 Cardinals each with 2 Bishops, etc. for a total of 30 clergy).
