Jhek an'Thiel

Jhek an'Thiel is the Vizier of the province of Halniir. Though his family has been among the most powerful in the Empire for many generations, they have never forgotten their desert heritage.
When seen at a distance, the first thing most note about Jhek is his enormous size and power, and can be dismayed. But when one comes in close one finds a convivial companion, witty, generous and open. Jhek puts all those around him at ease. At least, until he suddenly choses not to.
For under the joyful exterior lies a mind as hard as the desert. Halniir is not an easy province to rule, nor it is it a simple task to keep what small parts of the province are most fruitful intact and safe from her always probing neighbors to the west. Jhek an'Thiel like his neighbor Arch-General Virgil to the north rules with an iron hand. But unlike the Arch-General, the child of the desert knows to keep his fist of iron in a soft glove.
