Faeza Bronzegrace

Alaina's character - Faeza is a gnome rogue that is interested in investigating crimes and bringing criminals or evil creatures to justice. She also has an interest in spreading wealth to the poor and needy - kind of a communist goal overall, that there shouldn't be class divisions as there often are in DnD worlds. As such she doesn't care for nobles or those born into wealth. She values when people put in the work and use their position to help others.   Faeza grew up as one of 10 siblings in a gnome family in a human city, Pento . Her parents worked hard, but were never really able to proivide for all their kids. As one of the oldest, Faeza had to stop attending school and take on trades at a young age to help out. She worked as an assistant in gnome shops and has some skill with textiles. She always was resentful of her family's needing to work so hard when she saw rich humans, born into wealth, come into gnome shops and seem to want for nothing. The guards also favored humans in the city and largely overlooked thievery in gnome shops. Faeza started taking it on herself to hunt thieves and solve crime issues among the gnome quarter. Eventually thanks to her efforts, the crime situation in the gnome quarter stabilized. Some other gnomes took on the mantle of moonlighting, investigating crimes and punishing evildoers. Gnomes shifted to see crime as something they could stand up against, rather than cowering.   Faeza decided to move on and try to solve some of the more overarching problems in the world. Small-time crime is fine to investigate, but she feels her skills could be developed and help elsewhere. She started taking on odd jobs and quests that punish evildoers and moved on from working customer service.   Faeza's family doesn't see her pursuits as a real job. Real gnome jobs produce goods. Real gnomes are metalworkers like her parents and many of her siblings. To a gnome, hard work and creativity are their own reward and Faeza should settle down and open her own shop.   Faeza wound up in Sanctuary to try to learn more about criminals and solve crimes there herself. She's learned it's a haven for crime and it's largely unchecked. She's probably in over her head a bit, but doesn't know it. She thinks her success among her own people in Pento means she could change the whole world if she just applied herself.   tl;dr: This character set up a neighborhood watch once, so she thinks she should pretty easily be able to overthrow the world order.
