The Witch Toads

Unlike the other inhabitants of the planet, the witch toads worship the Red Tear and view it as a prophetic fulfillment. They believe the terraformers are evil devices designed to keep their god from coming to them.

Preferred weaponry are staves and quarter staffs. They use a special powder derived from plants and their excrement. Slightly altering the amounts can produce effects ranging from sleep, paralysis, hallucinations, and death. These powders are stored in hollow sections of their rods.
