Webruxus
Webruxus is the realm of knowledge.
A vast and intricate system of rooms and hallways make up this realm. Housing many and all forms of information. Everything that has ever happened or will gets recorded in this system. The complex is maintained and governed by Aestheneia, The Scholar of Weakness. She holds the entirety of universal knowledge in a blackstone book, with the word "Catalogue" engraved on it. In her hands, Aestheneia can instantly ascertain any desired information. But legends of this omniscient object spread across the universe. Tales that allured adventurers, deities, and demons alike. Creatures that sought knowledge beyond their comprehension.
Many entities who read the Catalogue are overcome with the raw power of free-flowing information. Their minds shatter as they try to understand. Losing themselves in the complex. They wander the corridors and rooms passing through every thought, yet unable to find their way and follow the trail. On unusual occasions a notary, one of Aestheneia's Recorders of Knowledge, happens upon a wayward mind. With the aid of Aestheneia, the notary attempts to return the entity from madness. Complete orientation is rare, however even a partial return to sanity gives Aestheneia and her notaries an opportunity to expand their knowledge.
Some notaries even attempt to traverse madness in search for greater insight into the universe. However madness is a realm of its own. A realm where notaries quickly fade because anything that's remembered, never stays for long. Often information is lost along with the notary. Lives, worlds, stories, whatever the notary was tasked with recording. Everything lost to the realm of madness.
