The Starpoint Dagger

The Starpoint Dagger was one of the first constellations to form in the outer space above the Clouded Shore. Consisting of six Aephotorans who made ascension, their stars align to form a dagger in the heavens of the night above. The first to ascend, and the head of the pantheon, was Zutana, Goddess of the Forge. Following Zutana, rose Botar, God of Arcana, and the twins Brivena and Rhalo, Goddess of Peace and God of Order respectively. The last two Aephotorans to ascend to the dagger were Himir, God of Twilight, and Sivaria, Goddess of the Grave.   Looking up at the night sky above the wilds of Slavalon, or worlds of Shometria, one can see the godly stars forming a dagger. The star of Himir is stationed as the dagger’s pommel and connects to Zutana’s star to form the dagger’s handle. Positioned on either side of Zutana are the twin gods Rhalo and Brivena acting as the dagger’s crossguards. Connecting from Zutana and acting as the blade is the star of Botar. Finally the star of Sivaria acts as the tip of the dagger and completes the constellation.   The Starpoint Dagger first ascended through the leadership of Zutana, an Aephotoran resembling that of a dwarf, however she is much larger than standard dwarves. Standing nearly six feet tall, but maintaining a stocky dwarven stature. Zutana is a Goddess of the Forge and Creation. She tends to attract many dwarven followers given the similarities between their physicality, but many other smiths, jewelers, carpenters, and other creatures of artisanal trades follow her in hopes to receive her guidance and skills in creation.   Zutana’s kingdom orbiting her star is said to be the ideal workshop any tradesperson would want to find themselves in. Utilizing the energy of her star, the workshop contains a forge that few things can rival in terms of heat. Legends tell of magical artifacts being created here by Zutana or other godly entities. Which has led to the workshop often being sought after by mortals, be it out of need or greed. Zutana’s workshop does not house the forge alone, however. There are many stations and rooms filled with nearly any tool that can be conceived, and if one is missing it most certainly can be made.   The Goddess Zutana works closely with the God Botar. While Zutana crafts using the physicality of the universe, Botar crafts using the energy of the universe. The two of them work together creating magnificent and powerful artifacts. Over the years the two of them created many magical items, while also drawing the attention of mortals and even other, more nefarious, entities. With the guidance of Botar, Brivena and Rhalo made ascension to the heavens. Brivena and Rhalo are twin aephotorans who invoked order on the process of creation and ensured that artifacts enabled peace throughout lands. The fifth aephotoran, Sivaria, ascended by herself after discovering the potential of mortal ambition and the persistence of magic. Many artifacts ledway to mortal souls laying in unrest or even coming back as undead. Sivaria stepped in to ensure that when a mortal’s time comes, their physicality may rest undisturbed. The last aephotoran to ascend and complete the starpoint dagger was Himir. Quiet and reclusive compared to the many other gods who boisterously bolster their followers. Yet everwatchful in the times of twilight and when mortals are most vulnerable.   The Starpoint Dagger gained the devotion of many mortals throughout the universe. Across the worlds of Shometria and the expanse of Slavalon. Mortals were drawn to the dagger for a variety of reasons. However the main attractor of mortal worship are the duo Zutana and Botar. Legends of powerful artifacts and magical tools spread throughout the realms and the many shometrian worlds. Gathering the attention of favorable and harmful entities alike.
