Errant Darkwood Elves

It is considered taboo for the Elves of Dûr Eryn to leave without specific dispensation from an Elder. Those found outside of the woods are mostly considered "Errant" - either exiled or leaving by choice, which is effectively voluntary exile. Player characters choosing Darkwood Elf as their race will most likely find themselves as Errant, unless they agree with the DM on a specific dispensation they may have recieved to leave.
