Monks of the Eternal Sun
The Monks of the Eternal Sun are a devout order within the Church of Vumar, embodying the virtues of light, life, and protection. Dedicated to the teachings of The Illuminated Path of the Eternal Sun, they follow a sacred way of life centered on the belief that “all life is precious.” These nomadic healers travel the lands, offering aid and comfort to those in need without expecting payment or thanks. Their presence is often regarded as a blessing to the righteous and a warning to those who dwell in darkness.
While they avoid violence wherever possible, the Monks of the Eternal Sun are both revered and feared; they act as Vumar’s "eyes and ears," vigilantly observing the world for signs of corruption, imbalance, or danger. When the situation demands, they channel Vumar’s divine light to repel evil and protect the innocent. In these moments, they reveal their strength as staunch defenders of the Esari Alliance and its light-aligned races, embodying the balance of peace and power taught by their sacred path.

Thanks for reading! I want to explore how a monk would handle something like healing a questionable character like a criminal or addict. I was thinking that some scenes from a wandering monk could be a nice perspective.
