The Desert Crypt

The Desert Crypt or Moros' Crypt (simply referred to as the Crypt) is an ancient structure located deep in the Navoshi Desert. It was built when followers of Moros first settled in Navosh, and is the ancestral burial site of all Vessels, even those who do not belong to Moros.

Structure

The Crypt is an underground structure, built into the sandstone of the Navoshi Desert. Above the top layers of sand is a shrine to the Four, prominently featuring Moros. It is constructed of the same circular design of the shrine in Lyra Castle, with the statue of Moros towering over those of Asha, Seene, and Gamira. There are shamans that tend to the crypt, although most of them reside in the nearby oasis, as there have not been enough Vessels or visitors to the Crypt since the Cataclysm to warrant the level of service given to the shrines in Lyra. The primary caretakers of the shrine are Jossia and Neina, the two current Vessels of Moros.
In the center of the statues of the Four is a sprial staircase, leading deep into the sand. The central foyer of the crypt contains offering plates for each of the Four, each stationed in front of a branching hallway. Each wing of the Crypt is dedicated to a member of the Four.
