Gods of Twilight are a pantheon of deities revered to varying degrees by the
Elves of
Empyrion throughout their long history, relatives to
The Nine. This enigmatic pantheon currently counts
13 gods among its ranks, with its number shifting over the ages as old gods faded into obscurity and new ones rose to prominence.
At the head of this pantheon stands
Lunara, also known as
Luna, the
High Goddess of the
Twilight Pantheon. She is the sovereign of the dark night and all its hidden mysteries, embodying both the fear of the unknown and the comforting light of the moon that pierces through the darkness. As a symbol of balance, she represents the dual nature of existence, where uncertainty meets inspiration, and doubt is tempered by hope. Her influence is felt across the realms, especially in the isles of
Shal'riel, where the Gods of Twilight are worshipped openly, with grand monuments dedicated to their honor.
The other deities within this pantheon represent a delicate balance between light and shadow, good and evil.
Six of them lean towards
benevolence with an undercurrent of potential darkness, while the other
six are
