Platinum Piece
This is a rare type of coin in the realm. A platinum piece is worth 10 gold pieces.
The creation races decided to pay homage to the Goddesses by placing their symbols on each platinum piece.
Manufacturing process
In order to create a platinum piece, platinum ore is placed in a furnace where it is poured into molds after it is melted. The mold contains the impression for the coin so after the melted platinum is poured all the coin maker must do is to determine that the coin is cooled. Once cooled the coin maker checks it for any imperfections. If imperfections are found the coin is placed back into the furnace and the process starts over.
The coins that do not have any imperfections will receive a special magical spell only known to the Council of Mages. This spell is designed to protect the coin from damage and counterfeit.
