Rogue: Sharpshooter

In the Isanian armies, sharpshooters are not commonly employed for ranged combat. Instead, they rely on massed volley firing to overwhelm their opponents. However, there are some exceptions to this rule. Elves, Harpies, and Goblins are the only races that have incorporated sharpshooters into their fighting forces. While Elves and Harpies do utilize sharpshooters, they don't put as much emphasis on it as the Goblins do.

During the Grey War, the Goblins proved to be particularly adept at using sharpshooters. Mounted on their Giant Wasps, they were able to take out essential commanders or cause chaos in the ranks of enemy infantry or cavalry with their well-placed crossbow bolts.

While not as stealthy as assassins or as maneuverable as scouts, sharpshooters excel at one thing: putting projectiles exactly where they need to be. They are able to take out targets with precision, from a distance, without the need for close combat. This makes them valuable assets on the battlefield, especially in situations where enemy forces are fortified or in difficult-to-reach locations.

Tools of the Trade - 3rd

You are now proficient with all ranged weapons and no longer suffer disadvantage when firing at a long range.

Find Weak Spot - 3rd

You can use a bonus action to make a Perception check against a creature you can see. The DC of this check is equal to their AC. If you succeed, you may use your Sneak Attack against that target for the next minute, or until you use this feature on another target.

High Impact - 9th

You've learned how to use your weapon in a way that maximizes your stopping power. When you hit a creature and apply your Sneak Attack, you may reduce their movement speed by a number of feet equal to the damage you rolled on your sneak attack. This effect lasts until the end of their next turn. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses after completing a long rest.

Additionally, you have advantage on ranged attacks against objects that aren't being worn or carried. If you hit a Small or smaller object with a ranged attack, you may move it up to 10ft in any direction or pin it to another object in that same distance.

Headshot - 13th

When you use the Find Weak Spot feature on a creature, your ranged attacks score a critical hit on a natural 19 or 20. Additionally, whenever you score a critical hit, you add a bonus to the damage equal to your Rogue level.

Thrill of the Hunt - 17th

Whenever you reduce a creature to 0 hit points or score a critical hit you may make another attack. This attack can add your Sneak Attack, even if you have already used it this turn.
