The Veil of Feijorn
The Veil of Feijorn – The Sacred Sisterhood of the Emperor’s Will
The Veil of Feijorn, also known simply as The Veil, is the sole female order within the Kingdom of Fijorn, an unbreakable pillar of faith, discipline, and devotion. Every woman born within Fijorn is required to serve in the Veil, dedicating her life to the God Emperor, Ratha Fijorn and the prosperity of the kingdom. They are caretakers, assassins, faithkeepers, and enforcers of divine order, wielding unquestionable authority in their sacred duties.
The Veil does not waver. They are indoctrinated from birth, sculpted into ideal warriors, mothers, and zealots. A woman of the Veil is not a mere servant, nor a civilian—she is a living instrument of Fijorn's doctrine, an extension of the Emperor's will.
Structure & Hierarchy of the Veil
Every woman in Fijorn enters the Veil at the age of 15 and serves until 100—though the most devout and capable may continue serving indefinitely in greater capacities.
The High Matron – The Emperor’s Chosen & Ultimate Authority of the Veil
At the pinnacle of the Veil’s hierarchy is The High Matron, the most beautiful, loyal, and intelligent woman in Fijorn. She is personally selected by the God Emperor and acts as his most trusted confidante, advisor, and symbol of female perfection.
- The High Matron’s eggs are preserved by magic before ascension so that her lineage may continue, but her womb is magically sealed, rendering her incapable of bearing children for the Emperor. This ensures that no woman falsely claims divine lineage.
- She serves as the face of the Veil, guiding its members, issuing decrees, and overseeing all spiritual and militaristic operations.
- No one but the Emperor may command her. Even noble houses and generals bow before her presence.
The Mothers of the Veil – The Council of Matrons
Directly below the High Matron are the Mothers of the Veil, an elite council of elder sisters who oversee different aspects of the Sisterhood’s operation. They act as the disciplinarians, trainers, and enforcers of doctrine within the Veil.
Each Mother governs a specific division, ensuring all roles are fulfilled with precision.
Ranks & Specializations in the Veil
Upon entering the Veil, all women start as Initiates at the age of 15, undergoing five years of intense training. At age 30, they choose a specialization, though some remain as general caretakers.
Each rank carries unique responsibilities but remains equal in devotion and importance.
The Divine Zealots – The Emperor’s Holy Enforcers
The most fanatical warriors of the Veil, trained in both martial combat and divine magic, wielding weapons forged in faith.
- They hunt and eradicate internal threats and execute traitors without hesitation.
- Unlike standard soldiers, Zealots wield blessed weapons and armor, enchanted to strike down heretics with divine force.
- They operate in secrecy, sometimes even among their own sisters, ensuring absolute loyalty to the Emperor.
The Faithkeepers – Preservers of Doctrine & History
Responsible for maintaining Fijorn’s sacred texts, preserving war records, and ensuring the kingdom’s history is never forgotten.
- They act as teachers and spiritual leaders, ensuring every citizen knows their place within the Emperor’s divine plan.
- It is their duty to root out foreign ideas, suppress heresy, and maintain purity within Fijorn’s beliefs.
The Caretakers & Healers – Guardians of Life & Body
The primary medical practitioners of the kingdom, trained in both mundane and magical healing.
- They ensure that soldiers and citizens remain strong, treating war wounds, battle fatigue, and magical corruption.
- Caretakers are one of the few divisions that interact with outsiders, tending to diplomatic guests—but always under watchful eyes.
The Silent Sisters (Assassins & Inquisitors) – Shadows of the Veil
Not all executions occur in the light. The Silent Sisters are the assassins and interrogators of the Veil, eliminating threats to the Empire before they even rise.
- They operate in absolute secrecy, disguised as servants, noblewomen, or even common citizens, waiting for their orders to strike.
- Masters of poisons, silent kills, and psychological manipulation, they ensure Fijorn’s enemies fall before they even know they’re being hunted.
- Any man, noble or soldier, who betrays Fijorn, will not see the blade until it is too late.
The Birthmothers – Sustainers of Fijorn’s Bloodline
All women of the Veil may bear children, but some dedicate themselves entirely to ensuring Fijorn’s future generations are raised in strength.
- They undergo special training, ensuring perfect genetics, health, and discipline within their children.
- Male children are given direct military training from birth, while female children join the Veil at 15.
- No child in Fijorn is unwanted—every birth is a contribution to the Empire’s strength.
Initiation, Daily Life & Retirement in the Veil
Initiation & Training
At 15, all Fijornian women undergo the Initiation Rite:
- Their heads are shaved, symbolizing the abandonment of vanity.
- They bathe in sacred mountain waters, purifying themselves for service.
- They are clothed in black and gold robes, receiving the Veil’s insignia.
- For five years, they train relentlessly, mastering combat, medicine, scripture, and assassination, depending on their talents.
- At 30, they are assigned a permanent duty—though reassignment is possible based on skill.
No woman in the Veil lives for herself. She is a piece of Fijorn’s eternal legacy.
Daily Life in the Veil
Life in the Veil is one of discipline, duty, and devotion.
- Every morning begins with a ritual prayer to the Emperor, followed by training or assigned duties.
- No woman is idle—every moment of her day is spent serving in some capacity.
- Personal lives are secondary to the Empire’s needs. While love exists, it is seen as a privilege, not a right.
Even outside the temples and fortresses of the Veil, their presence is unmistakable. They act as judges, advisors, and enforcers wherever they walk.
Retirement & Death in the Veil
At age 100, members of the Veil may choose to retire or continue serving.
- Those who retire become revered elder advisors, training the next generations or managing the kingdom’s religious and administrative duties.
- Those who die in service are cremated, their ashes sealed into the walls of the sacred halls, ensuring their spirits continue guarding Fijorn forever.
No sister is ever forgotten. Their names are inscribed upon golden monoliths in every city, honoring their lifelong service to the Emperor.
Sacred Laws of the Veil
- No woman in Fijorn may refuse the Veil. Service is absolute.
- The Veil does not marry—they serve the Empire before all else.
- The High Matron alone may stand at the Emperor’s side.
- Any woman who betrays the Veil is executed, their name erased from history.
Final Words: The Veil’s Unyielding Devotion
The Veil of Feijorn is not merely an institution—it is the very spirit of Fijorn’s divine destiny. Its members are more than women—they are instruments of the Emperor’s will, guardians of Fijorn’s purity, and executioners of divine justice.
To wear the Veil is the highest honor a woman can achieve.
Glory to the Veil. Glory to Fijorn. Glory to the God Emperor.
