General Summary
A Painful Experience
The Nameless Ones take the Bandit through the streets of Az'ea hoping to find a suitable place to interrogate him. They have to knock him out again when he tries to flee and they try to take him to the upper district to the Burakh Estate. This doesn't work and instead the Sandstrike Wardens stop them at the stairs and usher them to a guardhouse with an interrogation room.
Confusing the Bandit, or the Dungeon Master?
Yippity takes charge of interrogating the Herzon's Shadow Agent and proceeds to ask the agent a series of questions. He is successful in this line of questioning as he proceeds to ask questions the agent is happy to answer such as "Who do you work for?", "Why did you try to rob that shipment?", "Do you know who we are?" and "Who do you work for?" a second time...
Amused and confused the agent spills all this common knowledge. Rupert takes over and leads with another vital question. "Who do you work for?" At this point both the Agent and Stolas have a mental breakdown and Stolas takes over, eventually learning information on the location of their lair. It is found at a pair of Bridged buildings in the golden gateways district and entered via the passphrase “Find riches of others, claim them as your own, in our lords name, we’ll climb to the throne” under the bridge.
The bandit tries to slip out of his binds and Rupert stabs him with the Cambion Spear, killing him. There's some debate as to whether a speak with dead could reveal more but ultimately the group choose to go to the lair.
Rest and Rumble
The group take a short rest and then head to the place they learned of. They speak the passcode and traverse down a series of caves that lead them to an open cavern. A statue of Herzon stands before them and an open underwater lake with buildings and bridges over it. Stolas and Silas communicate with each other to efficiently remove patrolling guards with arrows and magic. They see a room full of thieves and the group ambush the thieves. They loot the room and Stolas acquires a golden key with a cloaked hood insignia on the handle.
Sounds are heard from across the lake bridge as cage doors rattle and footsteps draw near, it appears The Nameless Ones have been discovered. As the group prepare for the fight ahead, they hear words echo through the chamber. “It appears we have company, let's show our guests the welcome they deserve”.
