General Summary
A Hellish Ambush
After discovering that Yippity's property was lost to a gambling tournament in the city of Az'ea, The Nameless Ones decide its close enough to head there and investigate further.
A few days of travel occur and the group briefly pass the Crater of Cossos. They get close and peer over the edge. It is deep and much is obscured in shadow and mist, but what can be seen is ruins of the once proud city of Cossos, now crumbled and laced with glimmering meteorite. Every now and again movement can be seen from within the mist, some shapes bestial, whereas others are humanoid as a tribal people seem to have settled within the crater.
The group decide that the possibility of exploring the crater is too distracting from their goals and move on.
A Multi Party Surprise
While traversing the road to Az'ea, the group wander upon an injured man who appears to be caught under a fallen dead tree. While most of The Nameless Ones are sceptical, Aelyse offers aid to the stranger. This aid is sadly rewarded with an ambush as several members of the Herzon's Shadow come out from their hiding spots and demand the group hand over Silas and Rupert. The Nameless Ones begin to prepare for a fight, but as they do the front shadow agent suddenly feels his leg being bitten and is dragged down into the sand as he screams descending into the earth. The sand in that spot crystalises as Hell hounds emerge from beneath the sand. A short distance away a red spark flashes as the tip of a spear tears a hole in the fabric of reality and a cambion walks through. The hellish cambion states "Grab that undead abomination for Lord Luzodetch, that horn is vital for his plans".
A fight erupts between The Nameless Ones, The Herzon's Shadow, and the servants from Hell.
