Session One: Krenko's Way

General Summary

Receiving notes about a serious and worth while opportunity, three citizens of Ravnica found themselves acquainted on a rainy evening outside Sawtooth Prison. Valen Tandris, a half-elf noble of the Azorius Senate, Kyselor Lyadon, Rakdos cultist and performer, and Lila, a strong centaur of the Selesnya Conclave. It was there a vedalken by the name Nassius Ven approached and delivered a mission to find and recapture an escaped goblin mob boss, Krenko. With the promise of gold, the three unlikely members of this party set out to investigate. Their search took them to Tin Street, where it crossed through Precinct Six. There they gathered rumors and intel, but ultimately became distracted by the discovery a goblin was following them. Talking their way out of a Boros interference, they knocked the goblin unconscious and headed to Precinct One to search for a sewer grate rumored to have been entered by strange goblins. After a few hours they entered the sewers, coming into contact with Hallia, an Izzet League researcher who joined ranks with them to defeat a Kraul Warrior. From there the party followed tracks in the sewers to a grate outside of a burnt out warehouse. Unfortunately, a goblin attack waylayed them by noon, and they parted ways to rest and reconvene in the morning.

Except morning brought with it chaos, in the form of bombings, and had their quick wit not assisted, Krenko may have been lost beneath the collapsing building. However, Krenko slipped some information that Nassius was not all he claimed to be. Ultimately Krenko's attempts did nothing to dissuade the party from bringing him to Nassius, and that is where they all parted ways, with questions and concerns, but also with the gold of a job successful lining their pockets.
