Malaya is a former Selesnya Conclave hermit and recent recruit to the Office of the Guildpact. Malaya’s favorite Wild Shape form is that of an Owlbear.
Malaya lived as a hermit among the whispering trees, dedicating herself to the worship of Silvanus and the preservation of the natural world. In the heart of her woodland sanctuary, she nurtured an owl hatchery, a sacred place where injured and orphaned owls found refuge.
Having endured betrayal and deception in her past, Malaya harbored a deep-seated distrust of others. Preferring solitude, Malaya tended to the hatchlings and wounded owls with tender care, channeling the divine essence of Silvanus to heal and protect them. Her bond with these creatures was deepened by her reverence for nature, and they became her loyal companions in the enchanted grove.
However, as a steward of nature, she felt a profound sense of duty to preserve the delicate balance of the world around her, a duty she could not fulfill from the confines of her secluded sanctuary. With a heavy heart and a determined spirit, Malaya entrusted her cherished hatchery to a close friend, knowing that the responsibilities to the Office of the Guildpact demanded her full attention.
