Hero Points

Hero Points are earned and given out at the end of each playing session. Players can earn them by being the most helpful party member for the night, or they can be awarded by the DM.   Hero Points can be used at any time throughout the game.   A player can hero points to gain a temporary ability upgrade -    
Ability Action Point Cost
Offensive Prowess A character can have +1 to all attack and damage rolls for one gaming session. 2
Defensive Prowess A character can have +1 to AC for one gaming session 2
That Spell Guy A character will have double their spell points or spell slots at the start of a gaming session. 2
Efficient Caster Any spells cast by the player will only cost half of their spell points. 2
Skilled Acumen Double your proficiency bonus for one gaming session. 2
Offensive Fortune A character can have +1 to all damage for one gaming session. 2
Defensive Fortune A character can have an advantage on all saving throws for one gaming session. 2
Eagle Scout Win Initiative for one gaming session. 2
Melee Art of War Gain advantage on all melee attacks for one gaming session. 3
Range Art of War Gain advantage of all ranged attacks for one gaming session. 3
Lets Do it Again Have one Action Surge in Combat for one gaming session. 5
    Or a player can get something more permanent.

Languages are Cool Learn any language ( able to speak, write and read chosen language ) 2
Accomplished Gain a bonus Proficiency 2
Exotic Feats Unlock special homebrew feats 3
Forbidden Magic Unlock special homebrew spells. 3
Master of Skills Gain expertise with a proficiency that you already know 4
School of the Hard Knocks Gain +1 to one attribute 4
Weapon Specialization Receive a double proficiency bonus when using a single weapon type of player choice. You may only take this ability once but may move the bonus to a different weapon type for an additional 2 Hero Points. 5
Spell Specialization Receive a double proficiency bonus when casting a single targeted spell that requires a to-hit roll of the player's choice. You may only take this ability once but may move the bonus to a different spell for an additional 2 Hero Points 5
Fleet Footed Increase base land speed by 10 feet permanently. 5
The Age of Enlightenment Gain a bonus feat 6
Unwanted and Diseased Gain the ability to be a Werewolf, Vampire, or Lich 6
