The latent power of a Godbeast is not something to be taken lightly. Any unconsumed and rotting Godbeast corpse can give rise to the creatures known only as the Huntborn. Each one is terrifying in presence and attitude and easy to mistake for a Furfolk with their anthropomorphic but humanoid features crowned by the skull of a ram or elk.

Despite their visage and dependency on fresh meat, the Huntborn are capable people who are able to reason and question as well as any sophont. Due to their gruesome births, they tend to view existence in general as a thing of fate - many believe they were created for a purpose greater than others. This drive can lead them to an early death, legendary hunts, or make them capable leaders.
