Level 9 Bastion Facility
A Bastion can have more than one Training Area. A Training Area might be an open courtyard, a gymnasium, a music or dance hall, or a cleverly built gauntlet of traps and hazards. It might contain inanimate targets (for weapon practice), padded mats, and other equipment.
- Prerequisite: 1-2 Skilled NPC Hireling's
- Space: Roomy/ Vast
Order: Empower
When a Training Area becomes part of your Bastion, you may hire up to 2 types of trainers from the Expert Trainers table show below.
- To issue the Empower order takes 4 Bastion Points
- When you issue the Empower order to this facility, the facility’s hirelings conduct training exercises for the next 5 days.
- Any character who trains here for at least 6 hours on each of those days gains a benefit at the end of the training period.
- The benefit depends on which trainer is present in the facility, as noted in the Expert Trainers table. The benefit lasts for 10 days.
- Upgrading to a Vast sized facility allows for hiring an aditional 2 Experts.
- Optional Feature- At DM discretion, a player character with the proper skills and expertise canserve as an Expert Trainer. They would also receive the same benifits as someone they are trained, as they "brush up" on thier skills.
- Optional Feature- At DM discretion, if some of your other hirelings meet the requirments of an option listed on the table below, they also could serve as an Expert Trainer. However they would not be able to preform thier Specialty Facility duties for that Bastion Turn.
