Often dressed in simple robes, holding a staff of power.    History-   Early Days in the Talons:
  • Sol, a skilled and determined elven woman, began her path within the Talons. Her exceptional combat abilities and unwavering dedication caught the attention of her peers and superiors. As she rose through the ranks, her natural leadership qualities emerged, earning her respect and trust among her fellow hunters.
Awakened Bloodline of the Sleeping Serpent:
  • Unbeknownst to many, Sol carried within her veins the awakened bloodline of the Sleeping Serpent, a lineage that harkened back to an era when the Platinum Dragon's presence was physically manifested through his loyal and awe-inspiring guardians. This connection granted her a unique bond with the divine and a profound affinity for the principles of justice, nobility, and protection that the Platinum Dragon represented.
  • As Sol's influence and accomplishments grew, whispers of her ancestral ties began to circulate. The revelation of her connection to the Sleeping Serpent not only enhanced her reputation but also cast her in the light of a living legend, a descendant of a dragon whose name was etched in history.
The Second Demonic Invasions:
  • The world was plunged into chaos during the Second Demonic Invasions, as demonic forces threatened to overrun the land. It was in this time of dire need that Sol's true leadership capabilities shone. Through strategic brilliance, unyielding determination, and an uncanny ability to unite disparate factions, she managed to rally the fractured kingdoms of the north under a single banner – an accomplishment not seen since the legendary reign of King Arthur.
A Beacon of Hope:
  • Sol's charismatic presence and indomitable spirit made her an inspiring figure, capable of instilling hope and courage in the hearts of both soldiers and civilians. She led her forces with unwavering resolve, spearheading daring offensives and orchestrating defensive maneuvers that turned the tide of battle against the demonic forces.

This victory solidified her reputation as a hero and a beacon of resistance.
A Catalyst for Change:
  • Sol's triumphs did not end with the defeat of Levistus. Her leadership led to a resurgence of the Talons and the fallen elven race. Her commitment to unity and her capacity for diplomacy allowed her to serve as a voice of reason and peace not only within the Northern Kingdoms but also across the entire continent.
Divine Ascent:
  • After achieving a profound and lasting impact on the world, Sol's work was far from over. Satisfied with her accomplishments, she was offered the ultimate honor by the Platinum Dragon, Bahamut – the chance to ascend to godhood. Accepting this offer, Sol became a deity herself, taking her place among the pantheon of gods. Her transition to godhood marked the culmination of her journey, where her mortal achievements became the foundation for her divine influence.
Interwoven Fates: Sol's life and accomplishments were intricately connected with those of other deities. She was mentored by Gunvald the Guide, whose wisdom and guidance shaped her leadership style. Her love for Eric the Judge was both a source of strength and heartbreak, as she was forced to make a heart-wrenching decision during the demonic invasions. The redemption and unwavering service of Valorine the Servant reflected the impact of Sol's leadership. Her mentorship of Sahaa the Mother showcased her commitment to nurturing future leaders. And ultimately, her rivalry and final confrontation with Tasha the Witch demonstrated her ability to bring down even the most formidable foes.

Relic of Sol: The Scepter of Golden Wings

"Let all who walk in shadow look skyward—for the sun rides with us."

Staff (requires attunement by a spellcaster), Legendary (initial) / Artifact (awakened)
Forged from radiant goldenwood and embedded with draconic runes etched by the hand of Sol herself, this scepter crackles with the celestial legacy of the Golden Wings—the order Sol once led as a mortal before rising to godhood.

Initial Form (Level 10–13)

  • +2 magical staff. Grants a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls and spell save DCs.
  • Radiant Legacy – You gain resistance to fire damage and advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
  • Golden Radiance (1/day): As an action, shed brilliant golden light in a 20-foot radius (dim light for another 20). Allies within the radius have advantage on saving throws against fear effects. This light counts as sunlight and lasts 1 minute.
  • Draconic Surge (3 charges): As a bonus action, expend 1 charge to regain a 3rd-level or lower expended spell slot. The staff regains all charges at dawn.
  • Spells (1/day each):
  • Fireball – Always deals radiant damage when cast via the staff.
  • Dragon’s Breath – Can be cast on yourself or an ally; deals radiant damage instead of the chosen type.

Awakened Form: (Level 17–20)

(When awakened, the staff glows with a radiant corona that resists darkness itself. Its surface bears living draconic script that shifts with spoken words of courage.)

  • +3 magical staff. Spell attack rolls and spell save DCs gain a +3 bonus.
  • Radiant Sovereignty: Your resistance to fire extends to cold, lightning, and necrotic damage. You are immune to being charmed or frightened.
  • Sun-Cleansed Light (2/day): Golden Radiance now sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius and dispels magical darkness in that area. Allies within the light gain temporary hit points equal to your spellcasting modifier at the start of their turn.
  • Divine Spell Channeling (Upgraded Draconic Surge):
  • 1 charge = regain a spell slot of 4th level or lower.
  • 2 charges = regain a spell slot of 5th level or lower.
  • Staff still has 3 charges, refreshed at dawn.
  • Spells (1/day each):
  • Sunburst – Deals radiant damage and automatically dispels darkness.
  • Dragon’s Flight – You sprout radiant, golden dragon wings. Gain a flying speed equal to double your walking speed for 1 hour. You shed light in a 20-foot radius while flying.

Awakening Trigger:

The scepter awakens when its wielder takes an action of supreme selflessness—choosing to protect others, uphold hope, or stand their ground in defense of innocents even when flight would be easier. This act must embody Sol’s highest principle: that leadership is light given freely and for the benefit of all, not seized for selfish purposes.
