Scourge- Greta Steel Fist

Physical Description:

Gretta Steel Fist is a towering figure, standing over 8 feet tall with a muscular build typical of her Loxodon heritage. Her skin is gray and tough, adorned with ritualistic scars that glow with an eerie purple red. Her eyes burn with an intense hatred, and her every movement exudes an aura of primal fury.  

Fighting Strategy:

Gretta charges into battle with reckless abandon, relying on her immense strength and durability to overwhelm her foes. She seeks to engage the party in close combat, smashing through their defenses with powerful strikes while shrugging off their attacks with her formidable resilience. She cares not for tactics or strategy, her only goal being to crush anything that stands in her path.

Unique Equipment/Magic Items:
  • Steel Fist Gauntlets: Gretta's fists are adorned with magically-enhanced gauntlets that deal an additional 1d6 bludgeoning damage on successful melee attacks.
  • Amulet of Unyielding Rage: Grants Gretta advantage on saving throws against being paralyzed or stunned, and once per day allows her to enter a state of frenzied rage, doubling her damage output for 1 minute.
Abilities:
  • Scourge Rage: Once per day, as a bonus action, Gretta can unleash her inner lich, enveloping herself in a dark aura of necrotic energy. While raging, her melee attacks deal an additional 2d6 necrotic damage, and she regains 10 hit points at the start of each of her turns. This rage lasts for 1 minute or until Gretta is incapacitated.
Actions:
  • Multiattack: Gretta makes two melee attacks with her Steel Fist Gauntlets
  • Steel Fist Slam: Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage plus 7 (2d6) necrotic damage if using Scourge Rage.
  • Chains of Death: Ranged weapon attack: +5 to hit, reach 25ft, one target. Hit: 3d6+3 fire damage +2d5 necrotic damage if using Scourge Rage. Additionally, the target must make a str saving through (DC 20) or be pulled into melee range with Gretta.
  • Trample: Gretta charges forward in a straight line up to her speed and makes a Steel Fist Slam attack against each creature in her path. Each target must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 21 (3d10 + 6) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone.
  • Trunk Graple: Gretta can graple an opponent with her trunk (contested Strength Check). As a Bonus Action, she can Squeeze anyone in her trunk, dealing 3d6 bludgioning damage. A grappled opponent can use thier action to make a strength check (DC 18) to break free. If Greta has taken at least 30 damage in that round, they have advantage on the roll. 
 

Legendary Actions

After each players turn, Greta can choose to take one of the following actions.
  • Make an Steel Fist slam attack against an opponent within reach. 
  • Necrotic Nova (Once per round): Gretta unleashes a burst of necrotic energy in a 15-foot radius centered on herself, enveloping the battlefield in darkness. All creatures within the radius must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw, taking 2d6 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. Additionally, any creature that fails the saving throw has its movement speed reduced by half until the end of its next turn as it struggles against the oppressive darkness.
 

Legenary Transformation- Reckless Rage

  • When reduces to 0 HP, she regains a surge of necrotic energy, which empowers and regunivates her, gaining the following benifits.
  • Gretta gain 100 Temporary HP
  • All attacks deal an additional 1d6 fire damage as she bursts into flames
  • She has advatage on all attacks against opponents within melee range. 
  • All attack rolls against her have advantage as well.
