Rassoron Dwarves

Description and location-   They are very practical, make good use of all available space and do not have much in the way of art (south dwarves more so than the north). The value of an object (or person for that matter) is tied directly to its usefulness.   The North Dwarves found homes around the White Peaks. The South Dwarves are located around the Soot Mountains on the boarder of the Somicks Empire.   Gods-   The Dwarves follow   Political beliefs/system and social class-   Dwarves are organized into clans. There is high emphasis on loyalty to these clans and families, and betrayals are the highest crime, proportionally punished based on how close you were to the victim.   The south dwarves are for the most part loyal to Gladrian, and are happy to be a part of that political system.   The north dwarves happily follow the instructions of the Madgar, and enjoy a certain level of autonomy under their rule which suites them just fine.    Reputation-   South dwarves are known for their craftsmanship. Their creations can be identified by strong rugged and industrial looks, usually inlaid with gold. They are also known for their mechanical tinkering, and new inventions such as the newly developed fire arms.   The North dwarves are known for the beauty of their craft, taking heavy influence from the slender gracefulness of elven works. Many of the most powerful magical weapons and armors are made by northern dwarves, and the purest silver and gems come from their mines.    Relationship with other local ethnicity's-   The south dwarves work closely with halflings, who farm and provide a lot of the food for the tunneling dwarves, and the humans who's ambition drives the dwarven need for more.    North dwarves are linked very closly with the high elves, whos culture and people melded with thwir own when elvin refugees came north seeking protection.    History-    There had been minor revolts and feelings of unification under a dwarven king, but those sentiments are far and few between and have not been acted upon in a very long time, and only in small pockets that were quickly squashed. Both north and south dwarves are more or less content with whoever is ruling, as long as they are able to continue their craft and govern themselves with a certain level of freedom.    Other Notes-
