Lucian Ravenloft AKA Smoke
Description and History-
A young man coming from an influential family in a small town, he always felt that he was destined for more than what he had been given, and yearned for freedom beyond the confines of society and status. At 17 he met the witch Tasha, who offered him an apprenticeship. he agreed, disappearing with her and following as she tore a path across East Rassoran. Any hesitations that he had about her methods have been squashed by the thrill of adventure and the power he receives.

- Lucian's tactics revolve around a combination of offensive spells, illusions, and trickery. He excels at harnessing dark magic and manipulating the arcane forces to his advantage.

- Chain Lightning: Up to 5 targets within 30ft of each other. An arch of lightning that deals 10d8 lightning damage, targets make a Dex sav DC 18 to take half damage.
- Eldritch Invocations: Lucian has two invocations known. Examples include Agonizing Blast (adds Charisma modifier to Eldritch Blast damage) and Misty Visions (cast Silent Image at will without expending a spell slot).
- Dark One's Blessing: When Lucian reduces a hostile creature to 0 hit points, he gains 20 temporary hit points.
- Misty Escape: as a reaction to an attack that would hit, can disappear in a puff of smoke, teleporting to somewhere within 60ft. When this is used, he is invisible for 10 minutes, or until he attacks or casts a spell. Can be used once per day.
- Apprentice of Tasha: Lucian is immune to being charmed, and when another creature attempts to charm him, he can use his reaction to attempt to turn the charm back on that creature. The creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw DC 18 or be charmed by Lucian for 1 minute or until the creature takes any damage.
- Tasha's Fool: Whenever a creature that Lucian can see makes an attack roll, ability check or saving throw, Lucian can make the creature re-roll it. He can use this ability once per day, and he takes 5 force damage for each use beyond the first.
