Act 1- Celebrating the Festival

  Establish before hand how many days the palyers want to spend exploring the festival, and base timing of events on that number from here on   Events and Compititions
  • Dueling Competition: Skilled swordfighters from across the realm compete in a series of duels, showcasing their martial prowess and agility in front of a cheering crowd. The winner receives a grand prize and the title of Champion of the Singing Swords.
  • Pie-Eating Contest: Participants vie to see who can devour the most pies in a set amount of time, with flavors ranging from savory to sweet. It's a messy but exhilarating competition that draws spectators from far and wide.
  • Acrobatics Showcase: Daredevil acrobats and agile performers dazzle the crowd with their gravity-defying stunts and breathtaking feats of agility. From aerial silk routines to tumbling displays, each act showcases the performers' incredible athleticism and skill.
  • Art Exhibition: Local artists display their works of art, ranging from paintings and sculptures to intricate tapestries and crafts. Visitors can admire the diverse array of artistic talent on display and even purchase pieces to take home as souvenirs.
  • Theatrical Performances: Various theater troupes and acting ensembles take to the stage to perform a variety of plays, comedies, and dramas. From Shakespearean classics to contemporary productions, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
  • Magic Show: Slight of hand Magicians showcase their talents with dazzling displays of sleight of hand, mind-bending tricks, and mysterious feats of "magic". The audience is left spellbound as they witness the impossible unfold before their eyes (though there is a bit of controversy and uproar as one magician is reveiled to be an actual mage, trying to pass of his magical abilities as artistic slight of hand)
  • Archery Contest: Sharpshooters test their skills in a precision archery contest, aiming to hit bullseyes and score the highest points. With bows drawn and arrows flying, it's a test of accuracy and focus that keeps spectators on the edge of their seats.

Her performances weave tales of adventure and romance that leave audiences spellbound. (If competing in the swords contest: Aria is clad in sleek leather armor adorned with swirling musical motifs. She wields a rapier with graceful precision, incorporating elegant flourishes into her fighting style.)
  • Gorun- Pie-Eating Champion: Gorun is a burly dwarf with an insatiable appetite and an iron stomach. He's the reigning champion of the pie-eating contest, having devoured more pies than anyone thought possible. (If competing in the swords contest: Gorun's armor is rugged and practical, with reinforced plating to withstand blows. He wields a hefty warhammer, relying on brute strength and raw power in battle.)
  • Lysandra - Acrobatic Marvel: Lysandra is a nimble acrobat with a fiery spirit and boundless energy. Her breathtaking aerial stunts and daring feats of agility never fail to amaze audiences. (If competing in the swords contest: Lysandra's armor is lightweight and flexible, allowing for maximum mobility. She wields twin daggers with lightning-fast reflexes, darting in and out of combat with acrobatic grace.)
  • Sir Roland- Knight of Honor: Sir Roland is a gallant knight renowned for his chivalry and bravery on the battlefield. He competes in the martial tournament with unwavering courage and unwavering skill. (If competing in the swords contest: Sir Roland's armor gleams with polished steel, emblazoned with the crest of his noble house. He wields a longsword with expert precision, employing a traditional knightly fighting style honed through years of training.)
  • Joseph March - Master Archer: Thaldrin is a skilled archer with unparalleled accuracy and keen eyesight. He competes in the archery contest with a steady hand and unerring aim, hitting bullseyes with effortless precision. (If competing in the swords contest: Thaldrin's armor is lightweight and unobtrusive, allowing for swift movements and quick draws. He wields a recurve bow with deadly accuracy, employing a fluid and dynamic fighting style that mirrors his archery technique.)
 

Act 2- Stampede

One of the highlight preformances is the animal exibition being put on by The Beast Masters Outpost. As the day turns to evning, people begin gathering around the ring that has been set up for the main event of the first day of the festival.    Describe the events as follows
  • The animal performance put on by the Beast Masters Outpost store is a mesmerizing display of exotic creatures and fantastical beasts, expertly trained and showcased for the delight of the audience. 
  • At the forefront of the spectacle are the magnificent Felnlir Cheetahs, sleek and powerful creatures with spotted coats and lithe, muscular frames. These cheetahs, each the size of a horse, move with breathtaking speed and agility, their golden eyes gleaming with intelligence as they perform intricate maneuvers and daring leaps under the guidance of their skilled trainers.
  • Joining the Felnlir Cheetahs are a variety of other large and wondrous beasts, each more fantastical than the last. There are majestic Gryphons, their feathered wings spread wide as they soar through the air with regal grace. 
  • Next are the fearsome Direwolves, large wolves from the distant continent of Rassoron, their fur bristling with primal energy as they prowl the arena with predatory intent.
  • As the performance unfolds, the audience is treated to a dazzling display of agility, strength, and cooperation between beast and trainer. From synchronized movements to daring acrobatics, each creature showcases its unique abilities and personality, leaving spectators spellbound and clamoring for more.
Pause for effect, performance takes a turn
  • As the animal performance reaches its climax, a sudden disturbance ripples through the arena, causing a ripple of unease among the spectators. Without warning, a gunshot echoes through the air, startling the beasts and sending them into a frenzy. 
  • In the chaos that follows, the Felnlir Cheetahs become spooked and break free from their handlers' control.
  • With thunderous roars and frantic movements, the cheetahs bolt across the arena, their powerful strides causing the ground to tremble beneath them. The Gryphons and Direwolves, sensing the unrest among their fellow creatures, join in the panic, their instincts taking over as they react to the sudden commotion.
  • Amidst the chaos, the trainers desperately try to regain control of the situation, shouting commands and attempting to calm the frightened beasts. However, their efforts are in vain as the stampede intensifies, sending spectators scrambling for safety and threatening to trample anyone in its path.
Players will have to try and assist in what ways they can, choosing from the senarios below
  • Cheta's are stampeeding, can help drag people out of the way or try to calm them down. 
  • Direwolves are loose, possibility of them attacking people
  • Gruyphans are flying around, need to find a way to bring them back to the ground. 

Follow up local Quest;

  • a number of these creatures will have escaped, a bounty of 20g for chetas and dire wlves, and 30g for griphans will be posted for anyone able to bring them back. Bonus 5g if they can bring them back alive. 

Possible Prizes and rewards

  • Most games have prize money, between 10g and 50g depending on its dificulty
  • Bracers of Archery- +2 no damage rolls with ranged attacks
  • Knuckles of Knock- equiptment tab in treasue doc
  • Ring of evasion- has 3 charges, when failing a saving throw, choose to succeed instead.
  • Alchemy Jug- can produce various liquids when asked for them
  • Paper of Message, A small notebook with paper that acts as the animal messenger spell. A paper can be folded into a paper airplane.
  • Bottomless Mug, a masterwork stone mug, all craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. Despite being normal sized this can hold 10 gallons or 40 liters of liquid.
