One Raven Pass is the site of a battle between Scotti and Araluen which resulted in the Scotti being massacred. Since the battle the pass has been devoid of all bird-life save for a solitary raven which only appears on the anniversary of the battle. It's cries are said to mimic those of Scotti widows.
