I solemnly herald, Aisleigh Glenstid Serdin, first of her name, Arcane Steward of the Wisteria Academy. With these titles for the good name of the Wisteria Academy, in dutiful citizenship of the Irenic Order of Avalon, and in great acceptance to King Avalon (MMMMMDCLIV), and with service toward the Denizens of Avalon, do I hereby enquire upon my own name. I am an orphan. One need not read too deeply into this text to learn this. There are none whom are first of their names, or so very few that it is hardly worth the ink. And while these peerless insubordinates are a blight on our society, I rigorously disaccord upon the familiar presumption. To wit, I - an orphan of no titles, deeds, land, or value - am now a proud Arcane Steward. Although I had nothing, wanted of nothing, and asked for nothing, I was given an opportunity by the dutiful mages of the Wisteria Academy. Without them, I firmly believe in my pathetic demise upon the streets of Lux. I make no attempt to call for sympathy, but rather, empathy of my common peers and denizens. For the orphans of this fair Avalon, those without names and titles, are equally of valued. I stand as proof of this valid assertion. Those who have merit, those who practice, and those who are willing to step forward into our society should be cared for with the utmost respect, affection, and consideration, especially in their poorness and plight. I humbly bequest upon you, next time you see a youth in the streets, begging or stealing, instead of dejecting them as a reprobate and cleansing your hands of the matter, seek reform of our Order's nation to support the care and compassionate hospitality of these most fragile in our communities.
