Jakharo is born to an unknown woman who dies in labour and is rescued and taken by a Meteor Clan patrol.

An unknown pregnant woman, looking for her lover through the forest, cries in pain and desperation. Unable to make another step, she collapses and starts giving birth to her first and last son. Her body barely manages to free the little warm body of her baby before she passes away, unable to hear the hungry cries of the little creature next to her.   A patrol from Meteor Clan approaches a bit later, alarmed by the crying of the baby, and find him barely alive. They smell wolf in him; probably, his mother was a trespassing rogue. Dacko, one of its members, manages to convince the others to take the baby into the Clan. He's named Jakharo, "son of the stars", and made Dacko's foster son.
