Darkforest Tribe is exterminated

The day after Jakharo commits his crime, Meteor Clan attacks and completely destroys the Darkforest Tribe to prevent them from using the forging techniques Jakharo revealed to Hara. The battle lasts hours and the ones who surrender are murdered, children included.   Jakharo flees and saves a Darkforest child, the very last one of his kind.

Jakharo is asked to fight for his Clan in order to recover some honor and be accepted again. He reluctantly agrees and is escorted outside after Dacko talks to him, reveals he is his true father and gives him his own Star Steel knife.   The Clan assaults the Tribe's camp early in the morning, catching most of the Darkforest werewolves by surprise. It's a slaughter. The Clan outnumbers the Tribe and although they defend their families fiercely, they haven't got Star Steel weapons yet.   Until now, in every battle between the two packs, although the Clan won, they always left enough living wolves to let them restore the Tribe. This time, they came to erase them from Earth. When Jakharo realizes this, he is shocked and horrified, and then the Great Leader Alrich leads him to a bunch of prisioners, mostly kids, and tells him to kill them. He says that's the only way for him to restore his rank, as he grabs a 11-years-old child. Jakharo doubts but chooses not to kill him, and when he says so, Alrich murders the kid and calls him a traitor. The Clan leader then orders his wolves to kill the traitor, but suddenly Dacko attacks him and yells his son to run.   He does.   Jakharo runs for hours as he's chased until he finds a kid. He smells like Darkforest Tribe and although he runs and fights, finally he ends up running with him when the Clan scouts reach them and Jakharo has to fight them back. The kid calls himself Darkforest in the Tribe's way to introduce themselves without saying their true names.   Darkforest and Jakharo are now runaways without a goal.
