Southreach
Southreach is the seat of Kyneshelm’s military might, and the elven king, Eadwin Haraeth, has commanded the imperial army since Emperor Tarwyn I took the throne from the Dying King. Few villages or towns in Southreach don’t have a training regime for the imperial army. King Eadwin is a powerfully-built, 570 year old elven man who has held a sword for the Kyneshelm army for almost 500 years.
When the Dying King was defeated by Tarwyn I, Eadwin was awarded for his help dismantling the Dying King’s regime from inside the imperial army, and has commanded it ever since. Eadwin rules with his elven family; wife, Queen Riyelle, and two sons who have both been named Lord Commanders in the Imperial Army; Prince Kaiel and Duke Raelyn.
