Ruled by King Charlie Maidensfair, Pike is the seat of the Imperial Navy, rivalled in Raethíl only by the Silver King’s navy in Eili’an. Pike is also one of the largest sea trading ports in the world and is constantly sending away and receiving ships from the mainland and other continents. There is almost a consistent convoy of ships snaking between Greenharbour and Jadeharbour.

Many believe King Charlie to be a weak lord; though those people do not know him as others do. The opinion comes from the misguided assumptions made from his appearance; small, looks younger than he is, and unfortunately, the fact that he has taken a husband. This is drastically incorrect, as from a young age, King Charlie began to study the art of his elven father of bladesinging, and has since become a formidable combatant on land and by sea. He rules with his husband, Archduke Noir, a handsome human man and personal guard to his king. Together they have an adopted son, a half-elf teenage boy, Prince Theron.
