Kyneshelm Empire

Overview
Kyneshelm, the largest continent and empire beyond the Elemental Spheres, has a storied history shaped by survival, conquest, and unity. Originally a refuge during the destructive Godswar, it has evolved into a thriving realm under the Kyneshelm dynasty, now in its fifth century of rule. Emperor Tarwyn Kyneshelm III presides over this vast empire, which spans seven diverse kingdoms, each with its own unique identity, strengths, and challenges.

Despite its apparent unity and prosperity, Kyneshelm faces threats from within and without. From barbarian tribes and monsters in its wild spaces to border skirmishes with neighbouring powers, the empire's reach has limits. Beneath the surface of its grandeur lie political intrigue, societal tensions, and remnants of the Abyss' dark influence.

The Imperial Military
The empire is defended by the Imperial Army and Navy, supplemented by regional forces in each kingdom. Southreach serves as the military's core, training soldiers renowned across Raethíl for their discipline and skill. Despite the empire's strength, challenges persist from raiders, Abyssal remnants, and external powers like the Free Cities of Aguatheim.

Legacy and Leadership
The Kyneshelm dynasty, now in its seventh generation, has built an empire marked by resilience and ambition. Emperor Tarwyn Kyneshelm III, a fair yet formidable leader, exemplifies the dynasty’s enduring strength.
