Alea-Navesh
The Alea-Navesh (lit. "Homes Within") are a blanket name for the many protected independent Elven enclaves and city-states that dot northern Neuspar. Under the The Corvas Accords, the Elves were guaranteed independent sovereign rule of the majority of their ancestral and sacred sites, as well as the protection of the High Crown in times of crisis.
When Halkoff I wrested the tumultuous lands of Caladin from the remnants of the Second Belian Empire and the many petty and cruel warlords that had sown chaos throughout, the beleaguered and persecuted Elven people joined his grand conquest. Halkoff is known to have believed his victory would have been impossible without their aid, and the Elves viewed him, in turn, as their liberator.
