Darael

The Djaynaian Speaker, who also represents Janyan interests, is D'arael; a male Human. His silhouette is easily recognized by the fat, unkempt dreadlocks he keeps piled atop his head.
It is easy to recognize just from observation that D'arael is startlingly intelligent, perhaps even brilliant. This is most evident in the beautiful da Vincian illustrations of mechanisms, vehicles, buildings, and studies of faces that litter his office and fill his notebooks even as he is meant to be absorbing crucial information.
This distracted behavior is because he unfortunately allows his brilliance to deceive him into believing he can grasp any situation with only a brief explanation. An arrogance that has backfired on him more than once.
D'arael takes to the floor of the amphitheater only rarely, partly due to his discomfort in speaking due to a prominent slur in his speech, but mostly due to his lack of oratorical skill. The flair and imagination suggested by his drawings sadly not translating to the spoken word.
