Volante Industrial Conglomerate

The Volante Industrial Conglomerate is a group of smaller corporations merged under one banner and name, Volante. Named after one of the larger corporations that made the merger possible, Volante has made a name for itself as the primary manufacturing and construction organization in the system. The CMA utilize their services to great extent, constructing more and more in the capital city, to the delight of the CMA and Volante's pockets. Volante has been a major powerhouse in the systems mining industry, as the machines they construct greatly assist miners in their work of gathering resources from local planets or asteroids.    Volante has many specialties, their greatest being large-scale infrastructure and construction, while their secondary and often underestimated strength is in the power of their Personal Service Suits (PSS's), large fusion-powered mech suits designed for specific tasks, such as extracting crystalized Arkius from an asteroid. Many of these suits can be modified and parts replaced to better fit the users needs, and while expensive, is often worth the cost, as who doesn't want to put a huge custom-made laser cannon onto a pilotable mech?   The Megacorporation's CEO is a cruel man named Alexandre Volante, who inherited the position from his father, the legendary Maximillian Volante. Alexandre leads the corporation from its headquarters on scorching hot planet of Neopra, where he oversees the vast spreads of manufacturing plants that cover much of the small planets surface. Alexandre has an obsession with automation, and while he still sees the value in a human mind and body, he prefers to have his industrial line and workforce made up of primarily automatons and machines, he has this mindset for two reasons, the first being that you can fix an engineers programming easier than hiring a new, less incompetent worker, and the second being that his company doesn't have to deal with all the "liability" and "human rights violations" if there is just machines operating on his assembly lines.
