Who Broke The Sun?

After a Journey through the Ocean of the Halycon which was despite the incoming storm of flares peaceful, with the exception of spooking Dolphins and nomming fish, the group arrived at the shores of the mountain, where they finally realized that the Catacylsm point wasn't destabilizing on its own. From the bottom of the rocky beach, they spotted a lance of energy piercing through it, disturbing the slumbering beast.

With now a concrete goal in mind, stopping whatever causes that disturbance the Chaos Marked found an entrance quite close to the Beach, which lead further into the mountain, tight tunnels, which lead into a place of mystery and wonder.

And Cultists. Undeath and Destruction worshipping Cultists. Lanasia's attempt of Diplomacy immidietly fell apart when Cadok heard undead creation and with that the battle begun. Dark Fairies and almost demonic Undead stalked the hallways which were trapped through Void fueld sigils. Which Cadok tripped multiple times.

Osburne was smarter then his battle brother and avoided those, Lanasia jumped around them, Hubaquaaal in the meantime decided to not bother with walking and glided through the dungeon as an Earth Elemental.

The Resistence near the entrance was rather weak, with the group only stopping for seconds to stomp them out before charging ahead, triggering the first of those traps. And also Cadok in his zeal to eradicate the Necromancers accidently burned the hanging bridge over the river of Laval, causing the party to be slightly more risky. Hubaquaal as a large Elemental could just step over while Osburne and Lanasia flew over the gap. Cadok just jumped over the ravine ... directly on top of another trap Rune.

They continued to charge through the corridor, leaving Star-Tusk behind because of her large size, letting her guard the back. Deeper and deeper the Chaos marked stormed through the dungeon which went slowly from tunnel system to buildings, revealing a massive chamber where the main ritual was done by the Dark Dragons which have been taunting them through the echoing chambers. Beneath two titanic swords which could have only be wielded by the biggest giants, a massive battle ensued, where the Leader Dragon decided to finish the Ritual.

The Chaos Marked bashed through the remaining fairies, which got one of them so terrified they surrendered, causing Lanasia to focus on protecting the captured. Osburne was shooting lightning through the halls, bringing light into darkness and pain to the enemy, clearing the field. Hubaquaal still a large Earth Elemetnal bashed heads of dragons in on multiple ocasions, while Cadok just kept charging forward, blasting Holy Fire and Litany at the Leader to attempt to disrubpt the ritual which failed.

With the rest of the party clearing the Chamber the Chaos Marked charged down the leader together, sending all their might at it, while they desperatly tried to finish their ritual to destroy Creation itself in the cults own words. But that shall not happen for Chaos was brought upon them and with it Destruction.

With that final blow, the Halycon was saved, though many questions were laid before them. How could this even happen? And what shall they do with the prisoner?
