Session 28 - Primiceriatus Rex

General Summary

The Lords of Neverwhere are enjoying a bit of downtime, with the activation of Aedificium's rescue mechanism only days away, and no dire threat looming on the horizon, the Lords must decide how to spend this downtime. For they do not know when it will end, and what terrors they will face beyond it.

The group today began with the rescue of civilians, but escalated into a yet another attempt by the Goddess of Chaos herself, and Fortuna's answer for the same.

Highlights

• Shaded Grove missed the sound of people still stuck in the building crushed by the tree, but Zirmek did not.
• As Sam still had Narashtin, Zirmek's familiar with a telepathic link, Sam and the group knew to come help Zirmek
• Togalt was able to lift the roof and allow the innocent civilians to escape
• Zirmek went in after the last civilian, a young goblin woman, who didn't want to leave a huge gem behind she claimed as treasure
• The gem, however, was an anchor for a new Lord of Neverwhere: Xian
• Xian appeared with no gear, but was able to conjure himself up a pair of undies
• The group headed back toward the Enchanted Forge
• A piece of armor was made for Xian to use
• The group was attacked by a pair of Theletos after the group discovered what they thought (correctly) was a card from the Deck of Many Things
• The group kicked ass and took names, destroying the creatures
• They were harvested for Axiomatic Crystal for use in making other items
