Session 26 - Dead Wood Flying
General Summary
Corruption. The jungle has been tainted by the touch of Corborus itself, and this taint must be expunged. With information from the erstwhile thief and knowledge of the demon-infested ruin, the Chaos Marked have enough information to find the result -- or perhaps the cause -- of all of this angry, deadly plant life: a Forest Dragon!

Into Darkness
Today many questions were asked, and answers were found. After Tarkon and Cadok managed to deal with the infestation, the Champion went to ask his fellow adventurers for advice how to protect the eggs from such attacks. They figured out that the infestation weren't some demonic Bugs, but instead Shadow Drakes which most likely came from the Ethereal plane, and tried to eat the eggs from the inside out.
Planar travel completely shutting down is outside the realm of options, so they have to just keep a closer eye on them, especailly since the Kobold Guards which valiantly defended the eggs, are now all lay in the hospital recovering from the Poison stings. Which on time, another victim of the Shadow Drake appears, a Scholar of the Name Archibald, who was rendered somewhat blind from the poisonous drakes. He was quickly brought to the Hospital.
During the way there, the conversation of Cadok's powers came up, and which the party encouraged he should find a teacher. Osburne had a better idea and just pulled an archfey out of his Jar of Yeast..... Which Lanasia then set on fire to free him, which didn't work. After that they did manage to free The Archfey, who introduced himself as Dusty Corners, a Dead Archfey. They confirmed he was dead, but not Undead, so no conflict arose.
Dusty Corners explained to Cadok that his Will can become reality in his Domain, if he focuses hard on it, hence why the most powerful fey are flighty to avoid accidental usage of the Powers. Also that the protective Mindset of Cadok would help him avoid accidentally hurting anyone and would make it hard for people to even accidentally get hurt in his small realm.
With that out of the way and Dusty Corners saying goodbye, the party turned back to Archibald who luckily only got stung once, which made it easier to treat. During that he explained his desire to study his field of how specific material reacts to burning and that he was an experienced Accountant before his academic journey. Which lead to him being offered the Position of Accountant for Tonbarony, because Cadok is already overwhelmed by the Magic, he doesn't even dare facing the Nemesis that is the Calculus.
Any further conversation was interrupted though by the screams of draconic beings way too close to comfort, so the Chaos marked, with Archibald being the newest member through an accidental spreading of the Mark, went out to investigate.
The Battle of Poison Bridge
The Chaos Marked found a scene of chaos. a young Forest dragon fighting off 2 Green Drakes, while 2 giant plants, which turned out to be Moonflowers) were busy breaking into a House next to the Bridge. The Party rushed in to get the situation under control. Lanasia rushed in and hide in the shrubbery and used her Pixie magic to turn invisible. Star-Tusk, Cadok and Archibald rushed into the melee to distract the dragon. Osburne and Xia stayed back and rained Fire and destruction upon the enemies while Lamurias did his best to keep everyone alive and hinder the plant from breaking into the house before it was dealt with. Cadok despite a heroic charge, didn't manage to do much more damage to the dragon, and a dangerous slip made Star-Tusk hang for dear life on the side of it, while the battle continued. The Dragon ripped into Cadok who did his best to hold his ground, while one of the forest drakes came around and went after Archibald, who through a Gift of Lansia and his quick wit, managed to take down the beast. The other Drake and the Moonflower which was not busy breaking into the house rushed the Casters, or at least tried. Xia continued burning them until the Moonflower saving the innocent in the crossfire, and the other which managed to reach the Druid, got introduced to his Lighting and his Scythe. And Despite being swallowed by the being, managed to slay the creature. Lanasia sneaking through the battlefield ambushed the remaining Drake who already wounded by Xia, did not expect a Pixie monk beating it to death. With more and more of the enemies falling, the party could focus more on the Wood Dragon and managed to beat the beast once and for all!
